Junee has a healthy following of Rugby League supporters and hosts three grades in the local Group 9 competition played on Laurie Daley Oval.

The Riverina School Boys Carnival is held in Junee every year in August. The event always draws large crowds.

Junior Rugby League, Junior Cricket and Junee Touch competitions are all played on Loftus Oval.

Six-a-side soccer is played in Junee on Wednesday nights at Burns Park during summer months. There are separate women’s and men’s competitions.

Junee teams also compete in the Wagga District Soccer Association competition against regional teams. The competition runs through winter months, from April until October.

Juniors play on Saturday with teams of 5-8’s, 9’s, 10’s, 11’s, 12’s, 13’s, 14’s & 15’s. Seniors play on Sunday with teams of 16’s, Womens, Reserves and First Grade.
